I am never sure if it is worth doing an android port or not. My gut feeling tells me that it is because mobile gaming is a huge market and still growing. People use their phones as a device for everything, for some it even replaces a normal desktop computer.

Then again, it takes a lot of time to do this port, and I basically spent all week porting it, which isn't good. I had huge problems because the file is so big now (1,2 GB is not really made for mobile) and if I would ask my community if we really need an android port, the majority would say "no"!

That is of course because none of my other games is ported to mobile, but I also feel that there is a lack of support coming from mobile users. Maybe because the "mobile" generation is too young or has a short attention span, I don't know.

Sometimes I think it would be better to spend my time porting it to MAC instead, but that would mean that I have to buy an apple product...and 1) I never like overpaying for brands plus 2) I am currently broke as fuck. Maybe some time in the future. Right now I rather spend 400$ on building my new asset library (and buying some of these yummy muscle morphs plus more torture devices) than on a macbook that has the only function to port the game.

Still not sure where to go next with a new game engine, but I will make sure that exporting to other platforms like mobile will take just one click and not days of rearranging code.

Yeah, just me rambling some stuff. Long story short, have done nothing but porting this week...and not much else to show.

Well, I do have one thing. I played around with my new engine, finding my render style and I am pretty close. At least for the new character busts I have found a neat lighting setup.
