How can I improve? (Patreon)

Project Shift: I will work on the first endings of CbDE from now on. The endings who are getting extended are still getting voted on by the Kinkster+ Tier, but there is a clear preference already.

Guys, most of you have played the latest games, Captured by Dark Elves and Femdom City MANTIS by now. You know my style and artwork and you also know the mechanics of the game. Most of you like it, that is why you are supporting me so that I can do even more of it.

The new Femdom City MANTIS has gotten the kind of animations that I want to do in the future. While it needs some polishing here and there, animations with text and dialogue options, with different stages and the characters interacting with each other (spitting in your face, slapping or kissing you, ordering you to do it faster etc.) is how it is going to be from now on in future games (maybe with some more stat checks ;). This is going to be the bread and butter, like it has been. But there is so much stuff in other departments that still need work.

Having started with BDSM Tournament, I think it is fair to say that mechanics, gameplay and scenes have improved game after game, so now it is time to tell me what really needs improvement. With the next big game that will hopefully be coming 2020 I want to combine the strengths of both CBDE and FCity and getting rid of their weaknesses. So let us talk about that. I already got some of your feedback and some stuff is pretty obvious. For CbDE that would be:

- Too much grinding with boring battle

Especially the battle needs a lot of work. I dream of something like an onmap battle system. Where you can see the enemy on the map and choose to fight or avoid them. I plan on doing some World of Warcraft type of system, where you select different skills and can equip different weapons to beat these enemies and gain better loot

- Bad Inventory System and rewards

It has to be said that the inventory system of RPG Maker is a bit clunky and not very intuitive. I will work on that. Also, you never get new weapons or even to upgrade your pickaxe or stuff like that. There is much potential.

- Skill System and Character Development

This is a bit of a tricky one. Most people want to see everything and do everything there is in the game. But a good Character System makes it fun to build your character with different attributes and skills. Compared to other lewd games, CbDE is not horrible in this regard, but it could be better.

Now, the mechanics of Femdom City are entirely different. Since we are trying to combine the two in a future game, some core things will be in the new game that Femdom City lacks. Of course, Femdom City is in a very early stage so there is a lot of content to be added. But still, some things are missing that I would already like to be in the game.

Inventory

Femdom City is missing one and I feel that it is missing out on opportunities because of it. Things like food, clothes, gifts and stuff are fun to have and to work for.

Onmap Character

There is one key thing that is missing in Femdom City and that is exploration. With an onmap character you could explore the city, find a hidden mistress and spend more time in the world. Some may like the direct approach of the instant teleport in Femdom City, but I feel that a character that you can control adds up to the immersion.

Lack of things to do

I would love to make you do more things in Femdom City. Like, I don't know, fishing in the sewers for food, playing an arcade game or a slot machine, dancing in a club and so on and so forth. Just to make the game more immersive.

That is what I can think of. There are, of course, some fetishes missing in my games that should be in there. Things like Chastity Play should be in there, of course. But maybe there is something I have completely overlooked until now and that you would like to see in my games.
