I have received some Emails in the last days about adult patreon creators worrying about the future (Openlettertopatreon.com for those who want to read it). Patreon has updated its policies, making it easy for them to ban everyone who is creating related content to bestiality, incest, sexual depiction of minors, and suggestive sexual violence. And while I'm thinking that patreon is going to be busy banning all the incest games first before they are going to ban me for sexual violence content, I have to admit that this is worrying for every adult content creator. Adult games have been somewhat unaffected because the policy states that stories and fiction are allowed, but you never know...and for someone who tries to make his games immersive, it is kind of hard to know where patreon draws the line.

The part that protects adult games from that policy is kind of vague: "We understand that some topics on this list such as incest or rape are a little bit more complicated because these situations are, unfortunately, part of real life. As a result, when reviewing this type of content, the Trust and Safety team will take into consideration context including personal, historical or educational narrative. For example, survivor stories or fiction such as Game of Thrones or Lolita are allowed on Patreon."

So, while I think I'm not in trouble, there is a chance that tomorrow an overzealous patreon employee closes down my patreon page. If that's going to happen, just go to darktoz.com...I'll figure something out ;)

Now, to the more fun part! The asylum is making progress! I have just finished some Tina scenes and looked up her script...she is the only one right now that doesn't have an ending sequence on day 5. It makes sense because you just met her on the last few seconds of day 3...but I don't know...feels kind of bad. Let me know what you think and if she should get her own ending sequence (remember, that will also mean more dev time).

I have some doubts about the big project Saragoth. It might be coming too early. I still have to learn a lot of things as a game dev, and maybe another small project, just like the asylum, would be better. As you know by now, I have a lot of games up my sleeve, and I happen to have one that is similar to the asylum (happens mostly in one place, fewer characters, fitting femdom scenario) but also involves combat and has a very interesting setting. Well, a picture is worth a thousand words so...

I am still unsure. But currently I think BDSM Gladiator is the better option because I can narrow the setting down (Ludus, Domina chambers, arena and so on...instead of going for a whole fantasy world ;) which means fewer assets to buy (and therefore better quality ones). I have opened a quick poll, just so you can let me know what you think (no, that doesn't mean that I will end up doing what you voted for)...we still have some time until the Asylum is done...so no pressure ;)
