With his mission to restore Sonic failed, Tails was at a loss. He succeeded in driving Robotnik and his Badniks away from Mobigypt, but there was nothing he could do to push Masonic's feelings for Penelope. After the Chaos Emerald of Immortality was safely locked away again, the formerly ancestral hedgehog set his eyes on the reinstated pharaohness Ankh-ett and decided to dedicate his skills as the fastest bricklayer to the voluptous white mink. Penelope, not satisfied with her profession as a chili dog cart girl, became the royal fanning slave. Both supposed lovers shared nothing more than a cooperative relationship, devoted to queen Ankh-ett.

Tails decided to make the best of the situation and settled to Mobigypt, acquiring a palatial profession as an assistant to the queen's advisor, Rubee, who interestingly turned out to be the ancestor of a certain modern thieving bat. Ankh-ett was a graceful monarch, she loved her subjects and demonstrated it with ocassional exquisit intimate orgies alongside her four most trusted servants. The young fox found happiness in this outcome and enjoyed all the benefits of the mission gone awry, and not just because he still had the spitting image of his best friend still around...
