Synopsis: On Light Mobius, King Shadow rules with an iron fist. The dark King's trusted vassal Knuckles was stripped off his title of chief enforcer and thrown into the dungeon, under suspicion of treason to the crown. It is there that he meets an unexpected old acquaintance in the form of Rouge the Bat. Will the echidna's fellow inmate be trustworthy, or will she turn out to be another one of Shadow's sinister machinations?
