Dimitri and the listener huddle by a fire together one last time. They've sacrificed everything to make it this far, and now the leader of the Blue Lions requires one last thing from the listener...
An additional note:
It is really tricky trying to make content for a character you have limited information on, and hardly any time skip voice lines before release. I never aim to do an “impression”, but I do like to take into account listener expectation when they click on a video of mine. So if you’re watching this after FE3H has released and the voice is off and the story is vague and incompatible with the plot, know that this was released before the game was out.
That said, I hope that you enjoy my characterization of Dimitri. I was trying to put the pieces together with the details I had, and what I found was something heart wrenching. The idea of a man who had all these ideals of justice and chivalry and was stripped of them by the pain of his circumstances. Then, the thought that perhaps the listener (or any character you ship him with) stood by him through all of it, watching him break, but loving him all the same.
With this being the first crack I’m taking at Dimitri, rest assured that as I spend more time with the character and more experience with his voice, things will change. Rarely has a new voice I’ve tried out ever stayed exactly the same over time. I hope you enjoyed the audio and are excited for more in the future!
