I feel a little bad for making Luka forget his breakup with Marinette after his akumatization because it seems like the boy’s always suffering in one way or another.

I imagine Marinette already getting emotionally distant from Luka when his akumatization happened and when she has to get back with him to prevent causing more trauma and negative emotions, her being insincere doesn’t go unnoticed by Luka. His intuition is too good to not pick up on the fact that something isn’t right.

So in a way they are doing more harm than good by pretending that Marinette and Luka never broke up.

I wish something like that could happen in the show so when Kagami gets akumatized, she forces Marinette to tell the truth and it would tie into the whole lying theme of Kagami’s episode.

But because this AU follows a slightly different course of events, I feel like Kagami here would be the one who would be mad at Marinette that she is lying to Luka. Kagami would become friends with both of them but because of Marinette’s actions, she would trust Luka more and eventually even come out to him because she feels like she can trust him.
