I thought I would post a little summary of this month to show how things are going, since it has been fairly productive and I've completed a few things. Some of these are art related, but I thought I would also share the other fun things I've been up to.

TF Art:

It's been a productive month for TF Art, especially with getting through some big commissions. I'm happy that despite some delays the Pokémon series is still sticking to its weekly updates. There's at least another month left before it reaches its conclusion, which will be really cool and worth the wait. When it's done I will probably start a new series that I hope will help people engage more with this Patreon. It would be great to see more likes and comments here.

Non-TF Art:

So I've finally come to the end of my East of the Moon anthology comic pages. This has been an on-off project where I've been trying out making short stories featuring many of my Ocs like Mimiko, Sylva, Chat and Suzume. There's three short stories in total, with the last one being a 4koma series which I've never done before. Actually they're a lot of fun to do and I'm happy that I've finally gotten the hang of doing monochrome shading with screentones. I've included a sample page here but I'm currently debating whether to submit the whole comic online on my new website or try and get the anthology printed. I probably will do both but I would like to see how much interest there is before I commit to printing since I still have a lot of my old comics.

Wargame Models:

Some of you might know already, but I'm a big fan of Warhammer and I've been using the past couple of years to try and get through old army projects as well as tackle a few new ones. This month I managed to finish my ten High Elf Archers for my Cities of Sigmar Army. These guys are my first time experimenting with a Living Statue look which I think works well with the older multipose models, that look so much chunkier than the modern counterparts. For those interested, I'm planning to use them as Darkshards, with the idea being that they will support my High Elf Mage who will be used as a Sorceress. The idea is that she can buff them and sacrifice them at her leisure as a sorceress but rather than sacrificing living beings she's instead sacrificing the constructs that guard her mansion. Speaking of bodyguards, there is also going to be a big batch of spearman who will also be painted in this colour scheme so that'll be my next big painting project (there's 30 of these guys so I hope I've learned enough to speed the process up a bit >w>;;)

Gaming:

This month I treated myself to a Ringfit for my Switch using Christmas money, and honestly I'm impressed with it. I needed something to help with my core because of back problems and this has been a great way to get back into shape. In fact this is the best shape I think I've been in so far, and I've only done 10 sessions so far! Looking forward to seeing where those goes.

Earlier this month I mentioned starting Shin Megami Tensei V, and as someone who really likes the series I'm pretty impressed with it. The production quality is superb and it just feels like all the monsters you encounter tell a lot about the world. There's a lot to explore and find but not in an overwhelming way. In fact I think it's taken more hints from Dark Souls than BOTW but it's still a solid Shin Megami Tensei. The only thing annoying is that I just started playing another RPG with exploration and that's...

Pokémon Legends Arceus. I admit if it had the same polish as Shin Megami Tensei V it would probably not be getting the flak from people online, but I'm still really enjoying it. The exploration and focus on studying Pokémon makes it feel really fresh as a Pokémon and I really like how rugged and brutal this world feels. You really do feel like you're in a frontier, where Pokémon can potentially kill you. That's amazing. God imagine if they did the Pokémon world war like this, like the one Lieutenant Surge was in...

Too many games to play, and I've got to get as much done as possible before Elden Ring. >w>;;

I want to thank everyone here for supporting me here! I hope you will enjoy next months art and if you are interested in more of these posts please let me know in the comments section and likes.

Nice! I haven’t played the actual game in a while but I do love the lore and such. I need to get back into 40K and make an AdMech army or something. Age of Sigmar is also pretty neat imo.

I've never gotten into Warhammer myself but there are some pretty cool designs in the series, and miniatures are always a neat thing to see. As for Arceus I think it's a pretty solid game even with being a little rough and unpolished and I hope they continue this style of spin-off game as there is a lot to like about it.
