Alright finally! This is embarassing to say but this took way longer than expected to be honest. The original plan to this piece was actually supposed to have large golden sex toys right below her to show her rigorous "training" but as i was traversing into rendering those bits, it showed that i didn't know a damn thing on how to shade metallic objects that were complex in shape. I've tried doing some reference research from real life and random artists, especially Modeseven's works since his works are so tasteful when it comes to having a bright sense of understanding textures and color, but i kept failing iteration after iteration. tried changing base colors, keeping the shadows and lights bold or soft, saturations, reflective coloring, and so on, but nothing seemed right and i just kept getting dissapointed. So i finally decided (and saddened of course by this) to just remove them.

they were inharmonious, janky, and outright left a sour taste in the piece as a whole. guess that's something i will have to traverse more into in the future! That was pretty much the only thing that consumed most of my time to this piece but after moving on, it felt better to me c: had another opportunity to render a naked body, expanding more on understanding basic anatomy. researched more onto how to shade legs, calves, torso, feet, etc. also, i tried something i shouldve done a long time ago, i always had problems having the feeling of drawing on a sketchbook compared to drawing on a tablet. i loved having the "feel" of drawing on a piece of paper but never had that same equal feeling when it came to drawing on a tablet.

i figured it was the stylus point but even changing that didnt provide that feeling. so tried theorizing onto how i can translate the way i draw on paper and put that somehow to the tablet. turns out, all i needed to do was just zoom out to simulate the paper size and use a smaller brush size to simulate the tip of a pencil x) again, simple solution that was way too obvious and i don't know why that took way too long to figure out. well, i think that's all i have to say when it comes to this piece and the progress that comes along with it. onto the next!
