late night posting :P i've always wanted to draw this lovely princess but always kept leaving her in the back burner x) but im glad i finally got around to it! this was such a blast to do since her colors just REALLY pop out but at the same time, it made it just a tad bit difficult when choosing proper shading imo. hues such as her hair was so yellow, i wasnt sure if i should go to the brownish rout or the redish route so i tried to find a sweet medium of those two colors. the highlights of her dress were interesting since if i used a lighter value of the pink, it would look desaturated rather than complimenting the dress form so i actually used just a hotter pink for the highlight than a higher value pink.

As for the second part of the piece, it's pretty much the same thing, however i had the opportunity to use more color reflections on this one to practice with and i was glad with the end result of it! sure they are just minor bits such as the spikes on Bowsers wrists or the color of Bowsers leg reflecting just a tiny bit of yellow on peaches leg, but i felt the piece felt a little more complete this way c: this also gave way for more ambient occlusion when it comes to how Bowser is gripping onto Peach's bulge and i was quite pleased with the result of providing a squishy-sqeeze look to it. so all in all, another 2 parter, simple, "clean", and just a ton of fun :3
