Pollinated 14 WIP 5 (Patreon)

Sorry for the wait on the progress of this image, it’s been giving me a lot of difficulty throughout the days and it’s mostly in regards to the men, abs, and figuring out how to render dark skin tones a little more properly. I haven’t even been able touch on Roserade yet. Been looking through tutorials of the different pigments that are visible within darker skin tones and trying to vary those hues within the bodies. Also I’ve been trying a new set of brushes lately from Modeseven! Absolutely lovely brushes so far since it helps me paint and blend all together with precision. I wish I was a bit more adept in understanding the settings of how these things work but it absolutely has given me more control which feels so lush. One last thing I want to mention is that I’m trying to up the contrast of this image a bit more since it feels like there is a “spotlight” kind of lighting to it. A friend/artist by the name of Takeo-S helped me out with understanding values varying under different lighting conditions and I thought I should try in not being afraid of making things darker where it should be. Other than that, hope you guys like the progress of it so far!
