Amber WIP (Patreon)

Noticed there wasn't a lot of Amber art in RWBY for some odd reason. hope you guys like this WIP! yes, i'm absolutely still working on the Lapis on in an incremental pace. Also, there will be a couple WIPs posted in the following days more so than completed work since i feel i want to break in a satisfying sketching method by creating a certain volume of works not necessarily made to be finished, but just made for the sake of drawing in itself.

If some of you may recall, i was having trouble with my sketching process recently (particularly with how i felt with the last page of the Ruby's Workout image) and i alternated back to the "pencil/chicken scratchy" sketching method. the last method i used was to be more fine tuned with making confident strokes, relying more on my imagination on where the strokes and lines should land which in turn made more gesture like outcomes. But as i've rattled on about already, it started to become worse in results of outcomes in my opinion. I think i'll try using both methods in tandem to create the gesture first and then the chicken scratchy method to refine :o

to be honest, i'm not even sure if "chicken scratch" is the correct term but it sounds like it is.
