Ben 10: Reminder (Patreon)

The other day I was sent a Ben 10 fic that gave me an interesting thought on the dynamic of Ben and Gwen's relationship.

The basic rundown is after the events of Secret of the Omnitrix where, for a few good minutes, Ben thought Gwen had died and blamed himself for it. This in turn gave him ptsd even after getting her back. Back on earth they became less aggravating to each other and became close. So much so that they can't stand not making physical contact for longer than a few minutes. Such as this scene here where Ben lays on Gwen's lap and she plays with his hair.

Purely out of a shipping stance, I like this idea that Ben and Gwen's relationship as family grew closer because of their near death experience in space. It's just so cute.
