So I've been getting a few patrons leaving on the survey that they're not happy with the rewards, or they say I'm not very engaging. Just curious how engaging SHOULD I be in order to keep people happy. I've been doing my best to keep open communications when someone asks me a question, or just wants to talk to me.

They don't know what they're talking about. That, or their expectations are too damn high.

I think your doing amazing I'm enjoying the art your doing its all I ask I wish to commission but since I moved im on a tight budget but other then that I am very pleased with what you are giving me.

OmniOtter

You've been pretty active, and you leave posts fairly frequently. The disgruntled Patrons are probably the ones that have unrealistically high expectations, and/or just want art without considering the state of the artist. Suffice it to say I've been happy thus far myself.

I can agree with the comments above. I remember seeing your artwork long before I joined here and thought: "Damn that's good!" I'm one of the new cats here, and I must say that I am excited to be apart of the community, and see magnificent artwork from time to time, and be able to support your work! For the ones who are "unhappy" they are missing out on some great stuff that is unquestionably unique in its own right. You're doing what you can to connect and have fun at the same time! If some people don't the effort you put out, fuck 'em. More real supporters will come along soon. Don't let the people leaving throw you off. You're doing a marvelous job. Keep up the good work! :)

Hmmm do a Q and A i would like to see you answer some questions

Personally the reason I'm not super happy with this Patreon is because you sold it to people who supported your Twilight X Sombra tumblr / patreon as the only place you would post it anymore. Honestly the reason I still support it is the hope that you would draw the Bluntwhiskey universe characters more than once or twice. I understand if you've moved on from the fandom, but I feel it was pretty manipulative to sell it this way. I've stuck around for two years asking and hoping (I REALLY enjoyed your tumblr), but I'm not holding my breath much longer. Add that to the fact that you can access 95% of the patreon rewards immediately on your Furaffinity, and there's not really a reason to support this Patreon as far as rewards are concerned. You really are a great artist and I enjoy some of your work, but these are my grievances. Thanks for 2 years, even if they weren't what I wanted.

Generally the only ones that are accessible are low-res versions and most sketches. If she raises the bar for locking more content away, then that hate wagon will have a field day with her again.

If anything, probably just have more consistency with your days (ex. Thursday/Friday - Comic Art Day, Monday/Tuesday - Commission Art Day). But really, I don't see you "not engaging." Probably taking too many breaks(?), but not sure what else to improve on outside of that.

Kayla I think you're an amazing artist and I love it all. I joined because of the reward for viewing Underlust. After you said you were putting a stop to it, I considered about leaving. However, I always enjoyed seeing your stuff on my dash and was very excited to see your original comics and other fanart. I'm very glad I got to see your work and how your flourished way beyond my expectations. Keep doing what you love. I'm getting what I'm paying for.

I don't know what those people are talking about, you're plenty engaging. As for the rewards, I've been with you since day 1 of your 1st patreon before this one, and I've been happy with them. (Although, I never knew about the 50 and over doners being able to request more than one drawing thing until just last week)

Crossbow1701

Maybe they didn't know you have a discord now?

I'm just one of the quieter ones, and I think you're doing just fine! In fact my email is actually constantly flooded by your messages xD (But it's fine, I get more spam emails from some Canadian pharmacy trying to sell me Viagra.) I can see that you're trying out to reach out to the (silent) majority to no avail, so I'll just leave my message here.

Nyaria

I don't know how you could be more engaging, I enjoy watching your steams, I've failed ot join you on Ark like a million times because I'm busy, and I'm typically pretty quiet, I've just been following your work for years, and wanted to support you, and also get some art in return. Personally I think your doing well, anytime I join your streams your engaging with people in chat, your artwork only continues to get better.. so I dunno. Maybe it's because some people only watch you for specific art? And you seem to have a varied taste, so they feel like they aren't getting enough of the art they wanted to see? I mean, I won't complain if you draw more tauren, their my favorite, but I'm also not going to hold it against you if you want to draw other things. I can't speak for those who left, but I think I might be in the ball-park of what they mean.

I think the best is we can get a discord URL on patreon, why they're not enough engaging? I don't know too :(

Cylianthe (Falkiveurr)

I don't think you should let complaints like that bother you. From what I can see almost everyone here is happy with things the way they are. I suggest relaxing a little bit and drawing things you enjoy, or at least find a balance. Making you unhappy isn't going to make the rest of us happier.

Damo

I suspect the silent majority are fine with the level of engagement. You're a great artist that regularly updates; you don't need to be going way out of your way trying to be more "engaging".

This seems like a weird complaint to me, but maybe because of how I view Patreon. I see it as a way to tip an artist I appreciate, and if I get to see more of their art that way, all the better. Do people think paying you means they get a shot at being your buddypal? Or becoming your art muse (ie: getting to request things)? Because that's super weird.

You're doing fine to me! I always enjoy seeing your art in my inbox. Honestly you post a lot of your work on here and to me that's reward enough.

Your doing an amazing job
