 Some of these exit surveys on my patreon are baffling.


Aug 13, 2016 $5.00- The creator wasn't engaging like I expected.

I update on an almost daily basis and I talk to peeps whenever they send
me messages on Patreon. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, yo. DX I would
like to improve though but it’s like...not giving me a lot to go on.

I plan to bring back the polls next month, been trying to do more streams so it's like....hmm what else could I do to make people feel like I'm more involved/engaged with my patron-base??

Kayla, do not pay attention to that. You are my only Patron on here now because of how engaging you are with your fan base. I wanted to go to other patrons and support the same but they were nowhere near as personal as you. That is nonsense, and you're doing great!

I mean, you could sell your soul and life and just be online all the time and never do anything else. >_> Personally, I am very satisfied. You always let us know what's going on and follow through on what you say you will do. Without catering to every individual person's every whim, I'm not sure how to change a result like that. Just keep rocking on and doing you. I'm personally very satisfied as a patron, so thank you for all you do!

You're the most engaged Patreon user i support. I am happy to do it, and I feel very comfortable with your style. The polls would be great, but there is very little wrong with your actual style. I look forward to your work, and seeing how you develop as an artist.

I can't speak for any other supporters but you're great. I mostly care about output, but I also enjoy hearing from you. The videos you do have always been a nice touch. Look forward to all your Undertale stuff; you have a great style and you portray more realistic bodies than i've seen in a while. Something I really enjoy.

You are one the one engaged patron user I seen so far... I really like getting emails from you then it's sad to say I don't go to your steams and stuff cuz most of the time I'm sleeping or working... Do so much love your work and the way you draw!!! You are one of few artist I actually paying to be a patron.

I believe you are extremely engaging. You are literally more engaging than any other artist I know. Not only do you comment to pretty much everyone of your supporters, but you even post art faster than others! Sketch, lineart, colored, doesn't matter. You post daily all the time and I'm always satisfied. I personally think you deserve a little more of a break tho. Honestly, it's best that you don't do very much more. I know that may sound crazy, but lots of artists go through a lot of stress from over working themselves. Others may want you to do much more than you can, but then that will effect your health. It can be so bad that you can get sick just from trying to support unsatisfied patrons. All of your current patrons care about you too much for that. I'm very happy with the current work that you do. Even if you slow down a bit, I will still be happy to support you every month.

There is no question you are one of the more approachable and interactive artist out there. Be aware that there are many different types of people, each with their own definition of being engaging. For example, some comments come from peeps (who uses video chat and likes viewing an art stream that has a facecam or a handcam or both) saying it's not engaging enough. And there are some peeps (who mainly communicate via notes) saying it's way too engaging. I think as you stand you strike a right balance. Besides. Look at the majority of your commentors. You struck a right balance with them. No need to fix what is not broken.

You are probably the most prolific artist I follow in terms of content and interaction. I have no idea how you produce so much content, do so many live streams, talk to fans and trolls, game and everything else, but it is awe inspiring. For some people it doesn't matter how much you give them, they will never be satisfied with what they get. Don't pay that butt no mind.

I'm with Lissa H. This guy seemed more like just posting up random stuff in the field. Plus, they're pledging the $5, there's not really much else they get other than your posted works, right? Your updates on a daily/monthly basis are great. Don't let this get you down, you're doing great with keeping your supporters up to date. you're certainly more active and approachable for your patreons

Honey, you can be the tastiest, sweetest, most plump and juicy peach in the world and there is gonna be somebody who don't like peaches. Don't worry yourself to death because it won't do you any good.

Don't worry about it, most of these people are bots or those who have no patience. True followers will love and stay with you. Just keep posting like you usually do and let the complainers move on, they'll come back... the truth is once you notice it they love that you are complaining about them... trolls of Patreon is what I call it.
