I have this idea going. Would it be ok with you guys if I posted a sketchy wip version for free for the general public, but keep the finished version exclusive to Patrons?

I don't have a problem with a sketchy WIP to be made public.

I have no objection to that. I like the idea of sketches being shown to the public. It encourages support.

Might help to assuage the complaints about you posting stuff to patreon rather than FA, but at the same time it could encourage the complainers that they won't see the finished product? There will always be someone unhappy regardless, so you should always just do what you think will be best.

Hmm, this is true about the complainer part. Just a little flustered what to do at this point cause I still draw a lot of art and post it for free, but it seems like that's not enough for people? x__x

Well, despite being a Patreon (and therefore getting said content) I kinda dislike the idea of a paywall like that. I know you need something to keep people coming back here and get new blood in here, at the same time making a lot of stuff exclusive is...I dunno, I think there are better ways. That said, your sketches are usually rather good, better/cleaner than some other artists sketches, so...I guess it would be okay.
