Joey’s Dad hadn’t seen his son for a few days now. The house was quiet, too quiet. He made his way about his day. On his way down the stairs, he walked by three photos of his son. His arm bumped one askew. He turned to straighten it but not without admiring his son first. In each one was a skinny, yet handsome young lad, a lad with a great future, great school grades and a future ahead of him. This was before the athletics club idea had crept into Joey’s head. Then all of a sudden his son grew and grew and grew, past anyone's wildest expectations. Joey was now over 2 feet taller and outweighed his dad by a good 310 pounds something his father still had not grasped fully the last time he saw him. “I wonder how much bigger he will..” his thoughts trailed “ Don’t be stupid!” He told himself, “There is no way the human body could ever grow any bigger!” Willing himself to adjust to Joey’s current size was tough but something he knew he had to live with. Little did he know just how huge Joey had grown since.

As he contemplated what to do with the rest of the day, he noticed the pictures vibrating ever so slightly. He leaned in for a closer look. The vibrations became stronger this time accompanied by a loud thud which grew with every passing second. Joey’s Dad froze, was it an earthquake? The booming and shaking became stronger and the house shook with a small tremor! Then… silence… “Ding Dong!” the doorbell startled him back to his senses. “A large something” cast a shadow through the glass of the door. Joey’s Dad stood still in fear before peeking up through the glass.
