I'm enjoying these so much, can't express how excited I get seeing these posted. Definitely excited for 3, as with most people its a favorite of mine. And as a Slytherin, I'm glad you can see the unfair treatment... haha can't wait for the next one!

I understand your argument that this movie is too similar to the first one. But I still prefer this one, because I enjoy the new characters like Gilderoy Lockhart (so much fun for me), Lucius Malfoy and Dobby for example. I liked the plot more and the humour. I also love the Weasleys. But you're right. Definitely not enough Snape. ❤ Dumbledore was a lot better in this one. I guess it's important to tell you that the actor who plays him (Richard Harris) died shortly after filming this movie. So there will be a different actor in the next movie. Just thought I should tell you so you won't be confused. One of the reasons why these two movies are so similar is because they have the same director. Next one is directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity, Children of men) and it's my favorite (this and the last one). You will notice a a big difference! Cuaron has his own very different style. Very excited for this series.

The music in this one is the best. I definitely prefer this one to the first one. The first one is basically set up and Harry oohing and ahhing at things. This one is more of the same but it has Lockhart and Lucius. I have lots of problems with the third one that absolutely no one will agree with me on.

But, from the third movie onward, it's just an entirely different venture. Really glad you're doing these! It's a great journey. I grew up with these books and read them as they were released. Joined Patreon just for these full-length reactions, though! Very much looking forward to your experience. It's not something I ever pictured you doing, but at the same time...oddly lends to so much intrigue.
