This show is great at making me feel bad for rich people. I'm usually just resentful haha

While the 3 "main" siblings' reactions to everything was great, I really do love the characterization of Connor in this episode and this season. His little speech about not needing love last episode really comes into play with how this episode plays out and how he goes it alone without his family. The fact that he has OCD about this type of cake because of the implication that Logan had his mother committed only to bribe him with that cake to not think about it. That his siblings completely forget to tell him about their dad and his first response to finding out was "he never really liked me". While Shiv, Ken, and Roman's actors/characters really shine in the spotlight, I do love how the show rounds out Connor the character at the same time. Another understated thing I love is this small moment with Colin (Logan's driver) being at a loss by his car at the end. It gives great context to that odd "pal" scene he had with Logan and really makes that relationship feel real despite how disingenuous that scene originally felt. A bit ironic that he ends up driving Kerry away from the plane, as the 2 are possibly the closest people to Logan (as close as people can be without Logan needing to "kick them to see if they'd come back" as the mom put it), but when it’s all said and done they are just employees who will get nothing for it

Just When I Thought I Was Out...

The kids were so good in that scene (they did a lot of it one over 20 minute take too, making it real time, multiple cameras) but what I really liked was just how distinctive each of their responses were. Also really felt for Tom, he has to be compassionate to these assholes, and be right next to a dying old man who he knows really well, which is super traumatic. The scene with Greg on the phone I thought really showed that.
