I just saw Malignant and it does scary DAMN well. Not a great movie, but some epic scary scenes. Also saw Bullet Train which is absolutely absurd action with a crap plot, but DAMN is it fun. Truly I'd love for you to watch the Godzilla movies. Godzilla, King of Monsters is the 2nd best "guilty pleasure" move I've seen (second to Edge of Tomorrow). Godzilla vs. Kong is also epic. So I am recommending: Godzilla Godzilla, King of Monsters Godzilla vs. Kong

Definitely recommend the new Knives Out film Glass Onion which is coming to Netflix later this month. I was able to see it in a theater; really enjoyed it. The Banshees of Inisherin was another recent movie that was good, with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson leading it. Also, if you haven't seen it yet, I'd say Top Gun: Maverick as well.
