"What's with the Marilyn Manson look?" Marilyn Manson looks like Marilyn Manson! Shocking!

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

"What's with the Marilyn Manson look?" Heh. I actually thought he was pretty good.

Scarlett Monrow

"What's with the Marilyn Manson look?" Well....it's kinda his look...original... :))))

As much as I feel you on the "wish the show ended before tara died" sentiment, (as for myself really enjoyed the only existing 1st 2 seasons of Deadwood :p) But Season 7 Jax is spectacular. Totally unhinged and without Tara to bring him back to center, just goes on a epic closing ride of one might say is pure "Anarchy". and loved the "Pay for songs!!!" was epic. Many of the covers did not bother me but this one was crap as only Freddie Mercury can sing this this song right

Get ready for a whole season of getting forced fed "Gemma moments"

Couldn't enjoy the torture scene at the end. Just because it was on the wrong person. I was just waiting for that scene to be over. But I am here for unhinged Jax though.

I'm glad there's only one season left without my girl Tara. At least she made it until the end of season 6 and not just two or three seasons. But I miss her already. 😒

Season 7 of Sons of Anarchy, the final drive down the road of this wonderful but flawed series. SOA has always strived to be the show Kurt Sutter wanted it to be, a Shakespearean tragedy set in the world of outlaw biker clubs. It almost succeeded in that goal, but the show always fumbled at the last moment. It's a well written, well directed and well acted action crime drama with Shakespearean aspirations. It's a very good show that just falls short of being great because of some narrative decisions and character journeys that don't really pay off or pay off too late.

Clay's death has been said to come far too late, almost two seasons after he should've died in the season 4 finale. I get wanting to keep Ron Pearlman on the show, America's Caveman is a great addition to any show, and it did give him a redemption of sorts at the end. Him cheating death, a number of times stretched credulity, a more shocking development was Tara's death. It was telegraphed but it's so tragic and unnecessary and the result of lack of communication and lies, the show's bane. Gemma does earn her role as a villain as good as Stahl, Zobelle, Jimmy O, Pope or Gaelan but it's also frustrating as none of this needed to happen. Gemma wants to protect her family, but the only way she knows how to do that is by burying secrets and telling lies. Also telling bigger lies to cover up the lies already told. This burden of hidden sins is very damaging and it can and will lay waste to anyone who gets too close to it. There's a war brewing in Stockton with the Mayans & Lin Triad readying themselves with a conflict with Marks and his Black Alliance especially now with them controlling the gun trade and partnering with the IRA.

SAMCRO is trying settle all of their beefs and forestall the conflict with the major players in Northern Cali. Gemma blaming the Chinese for Tara's death and Jax torturing and killing Lin's man is only going to cause more problems going forward. The shaky balance between the factions is about to be blown up. Jax throughout the seasons goes through a lot of loss, first major blow was Opie, his best friend and moral compass. Now Tara, the love of his life and mother of his kids, a calming and stabilizing influence in his life. Parts of him died when they did, so Jax is a shadow of himself, all the hope and joy gone from him. He didn't want to repeat his Father's mistakes or fall prey to his weaknesses but that exactly what he did. The tragedy of Jax Teller is that he does follow in his father's footsteps, more successfully though but still makes the same failures JT did.

Were in the end game now, it will be fascinating to see you're reaction to Season 7 Jimmy. I know it won't as enjoyable as previous seasons, but we are here see this journey out with you. Thanks as always and take care, peace.
