"Ron, you are upsetting the victim!" Yeah, I'm pretty much in agreement with you on this one. It's always been one of the more popular Coen brothers movies, but I was never much of a fan of it (prefer The Hudsucker Proxy.) But, yes, you're right, that scene referenced above really stands out from the rest of the film as being Coen-brothers-esque.. Personally, I'd say move on from the Coen brothers at this point. Ideally y'all would have picked The Hudsucker Proxy, instead of this one, to close it out, but c'est la vie.

Well I enjoyed rewatching that! Not seen since early 90s, as a kid. It had all the nostalgia. Pantyhose on the head and “IM Barren”! I totes get why had weird vibe from it, all the grime, grease, gross, creepy old dudes. Woulda been weird for a kid. But on flat screen as an adult,a whole knew POV. It had a sweetness to it with the writing of the couple. But also now I get the ending as intended. They tell dad Arizona that they were dreamers, unrealistic dreamers. And then goes on to have the most pie in the sky dream ever. Lessons there! Ps. Jimmy if you didn’t notice that is the actress from Succession! Fantastic in so many films. My battery is dying, saying this is Nick Cage… 😂 not sure who he thinks he is soppose to be :) this is the Nick Cage I grew up to.😂
