Jax's transformation into Clay is damn near complete. Beefing w his VP and pulling the Sgt at Arms in close. Its funny rewatching this season, I forgot how much I enjoy the dynamic between Jax and Pope. And Otto...fuck man that shit was so unnecessary but I mean...has anyone on this show suffered more at the hands of the club?

I dont think he is Clay though. Two different souls. But I get what you mean :) and yea I love Jax and Pope

Maybe ruthless like Clay. But way smarter. Although Clay isn't too bad this season. The scheming got a lot better

Since they brought up the race rule in the club again: I completely understand that it would make you uncomfortable - why wouldn't it. But I personally don't believe it was necessarily based on racism alone. I actually believe it was a cultural gang thing. Because think about it. Sons: all white (mostly). 49ers: all black. Mayans: all hispanic. It's common for people of a specific ethnicity and/or nationality (in poorer areas) to grow up in their own communities. That means, if they become outlaws it's also normal for them to join "their" gang. Especially decades ago, when things were even more localised and tribal. I don't think black people were forbidden from joining the club because the founders necessarily hated black people but because they didn't/couldn't trust them. Why would a black guy join the Sons instead of the 49ers, for example? Even if he was allowed to join - as soon as something went wrong with a black gang, he'd be suspected of being a mole or something because as a black outlaw, growing up in the "black neighbourhood" he'd obviously have connections to black outlaws whether he was one of them or not. They could never really fully trust a black guy in their organisation back then and even if they did...maybe it would backfire because it indeed was a mole. It's like if a white biker wanted to join the 49ers. It wouldn't make sense, raise suspicion or the 49ers could also be accused of "tapping up" the Son's people...things could get messy. At least this is how I always saw it. Could be wrong of course and both could be equally true - that there were racist reasons but at the same time warranted concerns
