Ninaofthe90s

yes Sam Mendes - also the director of Road to perdition, with Daniel Craig. Not the strongest Bond movie - but still better than Quantum of Solace. Waltz was a very weak villain in my opinion. Though he's a great actor. Just very underutilized. Doesn't hold a candle to Mads Mikkelsen or Javier Bardem. The script and story arc are kind of boring almost and the pacing is very messy. They were some great moments in it (like the fight scenes) but it didn'twork overall as a movie. Though it's always great to see Ralph Fiennes in anything, I love him. Same goes for Andrew Scott (from Sherlock - though saying anything about his role would be a spoiler). 😉 I also like Lea Seydoux, though Eva Green remains my favorite Bond Girl of all time. However- the movie is gorgeously shot. The cinematography is easily my favorite part of this movie. No wonder since the cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema (great name!) also did the last three Christopher Nolan movies. Interstellar, Dunkirk, Tenet. And did a masterful job with all three of them. I had to watch them several times in the cinema just to appreciate the cinematography. And Spectre is no exception. Even though Roger Deakins' cinematography for Skyfall is still unmatched - I think they found a good replacement.

Constantine

Not the best Bond movie. Also you guys were fun in this one. Cash dialed it up to 11 and you were annoyed at every third word outta his mouth. He says something ridiculous, you roll your eyes and look at the camera, like "you see what I'm dealing with?!"
