Great episode. One of my favorite things about this season is the Sam Crow/ IRA relationship, present and past with Jax's Dad. To me, it really grounds the level of power the Son's are able to exert, and makes it feel real. You heard right, Jimmy is fucking scheming. Side note: The Calaveras strongly remind me of The Orphans, from the movie The Warriors.

Lord Commander Mormont and Trixie (Deadwood) moonlighting as IRA, is one of my favorite things. I always want to tell Jackson to stick it at the end. Yea…He’s right, Tara is thrown after the kidnapping, and drive-by, and affraid to be in an OR working on babies… But asking her be a part of this culture that is always about loyalty/family and expecting her not to be loyal and go help Gemma….? Come on, Jax. You can’t invite Tara in to that world and then think that you can dictate how she assimiliates.. Yeah she knocked that chick around…ya think that the Club life, is not going to rub off on her? Gemma literally encourages her. Character development okay :) look at what she’s going through — she is eventually going to start to resemble the rest of them. Jax honey, protect your girl, but You can’t get frustrated when she’s becoming the thing that you asked her to be. rant over 😂

The IRA fella not struggling while being strangled was disturbing. I dunno the actor who plays him but I think he did that scene VERY well.
