The guy who played Hale, Taylor Sheridan, wanted to quit acting and focus on his screenwriting career, which is why this happened. Since then he has created a couple of TV series incl Yellowstone and written Sicario, Hell or High Water, and Wind River so it seems like he made the right call.

Horrible circumstance, but kinda adorable watching Opie pick up Jax like a baby. Shout out to Stahl for always ensuring, that her beef with the club becomes personal on every possible level lol. Not sure if its been mentioned already, but the Thomas who Clay keeps referring to is Jax's younger brother who passed. Jax living up to that "Men of Mayhem" patch more every episode Great start to the season, RIP Cap America.
