Thanks for the reaction Jimmy. The thing put on the top of the car was a pill box, holding the pills for her heart condition.

when Jerome killed himself in the incinerator the fire turned his silver medal gold. Vincent achieved everything with Jerome's name and lived his dream, that was enough for Jerome, so his death wasn't tragic for me. He wasn't depressed anymore. Because they both achieved this success together, which is something he had no longer dreamed of before. Also the stairs in his apartment represent the shape of the double-helix model of DNA. And Vincent probably doesn't come back to earth (which is why he said he might be going home) - he will probably die of his heart condition eventually. But as he said: He never saved anything for the way back. Him succeeding and achieving his goal ultimately shows a flaw in the system and makes the whole genetics society invalid. Because his success shows that it had nothing to do with his dna, only determination. The actor who plays the doctor who let him through in the end (because his son is very similar to him) also played Gregory on The Walking Dead (wasn't sure if you noticed)

Couldn't be a patron last month, but now I'm back to watch this reaction first. I fucking love this movie - you can analyze the shit out of it. When it came out it was a financial flop - but it has become a modern classic. And no doubt: Jude Law is the MVP, he stole every scene he was in. The movie is from 1997 and basically his breakthrough as an actor - though The talented Mr Ripley was more successful for him a year later. He's more than just a pretty face (although he often got cast as the perfect male specimen), he's actually really underrated as an actor, because most people mostly notice his good looks. Which is why I'm still so glad Sam Mendes saw him as this ugly creepy fotographer in Road to Perdition.
