I think a lot of people look at Chuck through the lens of him being a sane and normal person. Which we know isn't the case. This isn't included in the show for whatever reason, it's just backstory they left out of his character. When they call him a genius it is skipping over him starting college at 14(?) I believe. So this is a person who was never part of his peer-group and able to socially mature--So the law is essentially his entire identity. Him knowing Jimmy's past and moral flexibility, and him having the power of the law at his disposal... it's like a desecration of the only thing Chuck has left of himself. So considering that he has this overwhelming mental condition now and sees himself as under attack by Jimmy's very existence as a lawyer. I just feel bad for both of them but I don't view Chuck as bad he's just trying to protect the only thing he has left that he loves. Very tragic.

Its a strange fact that even though I know that the story wont end happy, I STILL get nervous and hope Jimmy wins when he tries to be law-abiding. Chuck is 100% correct in his assessment of Jimmy as a crook but is still unlikable as all hell. Baseball cards guy (forgot name) has to be the most entertaining dumb-ass ever. Mike, as always is the GOAT and from what I remember gets even better. The show is definitely slow, but so was Breaking Bad at the beginning(remember they would eat breakfast all the time at the start?) I watched this show as it was coming out until the mid season of S4. I am going to wait and watch along for the rest. Thanks for the reacts. Looking forward to the rest.
