Yes!! I think this is Hugh Jackman’s best acting he’s ever done in my opinion. This movie is definitely underrated.

finally 😍 this is my 2nd favorite movie of my favorite director right now Denis Villeneuve. Sicario is number 4, Arrival is number 3 and Blade Runner 2049 is number 1. Such a masterpiece...this movie. And let's not forget: the most talented cinematographer Roger Deakins (Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, 1917) shot this movie...just insanely brilliant work. Every single shot is amazing. I can always recognize his cinematography immediately. I mean just look at that scene when Detective Loki is driving to the hospital near the end of the movie. So gorgeous. He's a genius. And most definitely the MVP. 🙂 Also...this is Hugh Jackman's best performance of his entire career. Since he's also a father you could see how emotionally challenging this part was for him. It's the most horrible thing that could happen to a parent. Everybody just did an outstanding job. Paul Dano, Jake Gyllenhaal, Melissa Leo, Maria Bello, Terrence Howard, Viola Davis...they all gave 200%.

the ending of this movie is absolutely perfect. Oh shit, oh fuck, finally. This is ome of Jackman's bes performances, I think its between this and Logan. Gyllenhaal kills it like he always does.

the title "Prisoners" also fits so well with this movie. It doesn't just refer to the two girls...but all the characters are Prisoners in some way. Especially Dover, who is a prisoner in his way of life and like Alex trapped inside his own mind. Constantly trying to get out of the maze.

I just wish Cash would stop asking stupid questions all the way through...annoying as fuck. (sorry!) I'm just here for Jimmy anyway, at least I always enjoy him.

Love this film. Even if there are more than a few plot holes and the villains motivations are kind of dumb, the movie’s so good I can overlook it
