Now that you're done with all of Martin McDonaghs films you should consider watching Six Shooter. It's a short film he made just before In Bruges and it's completely on par with the rest of his films. The whole thing is on YouTube and it's only like 25 minutes long.

that was some insane character development for Sam Rockwell's character Dixon. Definitely my favorite part of the movie. McDonagh just writes these characters so well. Two academy awards for this movie: Best actress Frances McDormand and best supporting actor Sam Rockwell. Well deserved.

I wasn't bothered by that ending at all. I don't need to see if they gonna kill the guy or not, the most important part for me was that Dixon and Mildred were driving there together at the end. The character development for Dixon is brilliant. And to see them together at the end was the most wonderful part. I don't need to see anything more than that.

You can't really compare the 19 year old to Woody Harrelsson's wife. She's about 36 years old when she made the movie. And Woody was 55 or something So Woody is about19 years older.. And they were havin their kids when he was maybe 48 and she was maybe 30. not really the same as having a 19 year old girlfriend, when the ex husband is supposed to be 58 or something. (he's older than Woody Harrelson) And she's also only about 5 years younger than his wife from True Detective for example. Btw the actress (Abbie Cornish) also played Colin Farrell's girlfriend Kaya in 7 Psychopaths.
