It''s very satisfying to see Romans slaughtered.A little justice goes a long way. Freedom definitely suits Crixus. The return of Asher!

This episode was very compelling when I first watched it, Oenomaus is a character of gravitas and quiet dignity, but he is a beast when set to purpose. His origins as a lowly pit fighter purchased by Titus to become a Gladiator is a great story.

Titus tutors him to fight for more than just survival and instills in him honour, esteem and the need for purpose, so he dedicates his life to honoring the House of Batiatus. Which is why it's fall is so crushing to him, it was his life and purpose absent it and his wife, he has nothing to live for. So he goes to end his life where he came from, the Pit of the Underworld.

Though you can't take the former Champion of Capua down so easily, he wins many fights, stabbing Liberius into a bloody mess to the Pit Boss' glee. He believes he will end his life against the fearsome Caratacus and his hammer, get smacked about seeing his younger self and Titus flash before him.

Though like Titus said, Oenomaus is not destined to die in the Pits as a mysterious hooded figure kills both Caratacus and the Pit Boss and knocks him out. He returns to the House of Batiatus, though this time in chains and at the mercy of Glaber courtesy of that sneaky fucking Syrian, Ashur.

Lucretia's mental state has been damaged by her near death experience, but she is still the serpent that can yet strike when least suspected. She definitely plays up the Oracle persona which gains her a groundswell of support from the people of Capua and Glaber who needs her divine interpretations to help him find Spartacus.

Lucretia does this by whether by chance or design she gets Ashur's help to ensnare Oenomaus and make it look like the gods delivered him into their arms. Those two are the most cunning players on the show, working together is a formidable asset for Glaber.

Illythia however just wants her dead and to get back to Rome, however she stuck buying goats, gets treated like an old maid by Seppia and is fantasizing about Spartacus, not a happy camper. Seppius and Glaber's meeting shows that while Glaber is an arrogant, vengeful prick he is preferable over the smug, shit eating rich boy Seppius, a wonderfully slimy performance.

The Rebels continue their search for Naevia and keeping one step ahead of the Romans. Mira and Spartacus' relationship is very nice, even if only one of them is actually in love. We get introduced to new characters like buxom blonde slave Chadara who does let Mira know that being free is no guarantee of safety, she does what she must to survive, i.e sleeping with Rhaskos.

As well as the young Syrian body slave Tiberius who makes an attempt at Spartacus' life for upending his world. So Spartacus and Agron spend the episode trying to get him to embrace his newfound freedom. When Seppius' mercenaries arrive at the villa, we get the feeling that he may rat Spartacus out, so the rebels strike first killing them before they leave. Tiberius comes in clutch saving Spartacus and letting all those that doubted him know that he sought to keep them here as the head mercenary deduced that something wasn't right when his Dominus was absent and his collar was gone.

He also revealed that his real name is Nasir, shedding his old identity as Tiberius and one step further to embracing his true purpose as Spartacus wishes all who fight for him to do. Thanks Jimmy for another reaction so soon, looking forward to the next episode reaction, some good characters beats for Crixus, Oenomaus even Ashur. Catch you later and take care, peace.
