This month, the four movies which did not make the top four last month will be the four watched for this one. Just watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang the other day (Gay Perry for the win).

Finally got my top 50 character list (mostly) sorted. Just need to make a few adjustments here and there. For those wondering, new additions from  Patreon watches: Al Swearengen, Harold Finch, Walter Bishop, Amos, Bill Adama, Root, Will Graham, Hannibal, Rust & Marty (Sameen Shaw, Olivia Dunham, Lionel Fusco, Kara Thrace & Jack Crawford are honorable mentions.)

Suggestions for movies next month? (KKBB, Oldboy 2003, Upgrade & City of God are this month)

Omg, I'm so excited for kiss kiss bang bang. I didn't think it would happen!

Selin

whiplash and the shape of water are two very interesting ones i think you would like

Liam

Have you seen The Dictator?

Brian Darty

The hunted(Tommy Lee Jones),primal fear,blood father(Mel Gibson)

Michael

Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World Hamilton Speed Racer Also, tv show not a movie, but any plans to watch the animated Harley Quinn series? It's pretty great.

Dean Cyphers

For next month Jimmy you should check out Lock stock and two smoking Barrels! Another fantastic Guy Richie film. Also District 9 or Gone Girl

Todd Bell

Some horror recs: The Autopsy of Jane Doe or Cabin in the Woods

Ben Trotter

I would suggest any of Taylor Sheridan's Modern American Frontier Thematic Trilogy (1. Sicario 2. Hell or High Water 3) Wind River.... the order is also my personal preference. Additionally, there is an older gem of a movie that stars Daniel Craig and Tom Hardy called "Layer Cake" that is fantastic.

outdoorcats

Master & Commander for sure

The Road (2009)

Ted Cali

Since you liked Baby Driver, Edgar Wright’s other films (the Cornetto Trilogy and Scott Pilgrim) are all must-sees. Whiplash is being tossed around, that’s fantastic. Birdman from the same year is maybe my favorite movie of this decade. Brick is a seriously underrated high school crime thriller, to keep the crime motif going. Ditto Inside Man. And while it’s maybe the thing everyone is doing now... wouldn’t exactly be mad at a Hamilton reaction. And on the other side of the fence, shit films that are a lot of fun to react to: Cats, the Snowman, Book of Henry.

PCG98

Have you seen hotfuzz or Shaun of the dead? Both by the same guy who did baby driver. Also the Hannibal movies?

Drew

Wind River Master and Cammander Bone Tomahawk Hell or High Water Gladiator Collateral Troy Black Hawk Down Eastern Promises Each and every one of these will make for a better list.

Drew

Such a good film but also literally might be the most depressing piece of fiction ever made.

Drive (2011)

I second Master and Commander. That's in my top 5 all time.

Just When I Thought I Was Out...

Blindspotting! Warrior. Collateral. Gone Girl. Macgruber. Boogie Nights. Ex Machina. Talented Mr. Ripley. Midnight Run. Cornetto Trilogy. Eastern Promises/History of Violence. There Will Be Blood. Whiplash. Wolf of Wall Street. Nightcrawler. The Guest. Cabin in the Woods. The Shining.

Light Yagami

He just watched ex machina last month dude lol. Although I will second that night crawler should be added to the list

Anonymous

I second Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy, especially Hot Fuzz. Might be one of the best comedies I have seen.

T0ast

The Social Network, Gone Girl, Scott Pilgrim VS The World, Sicario, Arrival

Tanner

I’m only thru the first season of Harley Quinn but it’s freaking fantastic. Was not expecting it to be so great!

Jonathan Giles

My guy fusco. Great character. I second hot fuzz. Great film

Clint Sanders

Mandy! Crazy revenge flick with ultra violence and Nic Cage. What more could you want.

Ninaofthe90s

I'm gonna go with The Lighthouse. I'm not entirely sure your friend is going to like it but I think you will. The movie is very artsy but at the same time ridiculously funny and so much to analyze for you. And of course the acting by Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson is magnificent. Another reason why I'm suggesting this is because if I remember correctly you once mentioned that you have never seen a movie with Robert Pattinson. So maybe you should see this one before you see him as the new Batman. I would be really excited to hear your opinion. (Can't wait for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang btw - that would've been my next pick)

Unbeheld

If you liked Parasite, should watch New World (2013 film), one of the best KR gangster movies.

Anonymous

Not sure if you've seen Lock, Stock, & 2 Smoking Barrels, but you should watch it if not.

Dean Cyphers

Regarding your updated top 50 list I can't wait to see it but I must say you're sleeping on quite a few Lost characters (Sawyer, Juliet, Jack) but I understand the decision. It's like FMA: Brotherhood. Every character is fantastic! 😎 🤷

Jamie Rees

If you haven't seen it, Doomsday or Centurion, post-apocolypse horror film pastiche or historical action chase film set during Rome's invasion of Brittain.

Jamie Rees

Both Neil Marshall films, differing in tone but with his trademark horror action flair.

Having just seen it at the cinema for its 10th anniversary release, Inception. OK, surely you’ve already seen it. So, Tenet. Only two weeks til it’s U.K. release date! A very strong roster of characters, delighted that my beloved Root has made the cut.

How about Tropic Thunder? If you’ve seen it, then Tropic Thunder dvd commentary version. Even further back in time, Natural Born Killers.

Ninaofthe90s

Have you seen Lucky Number Slevin?

Ninaofthe90s

I know you watched it but never reacted to it - but is Sherlock on the list too???

Strange my comment seems to have disappeared so I'll write it again. I propose 2 more Bong Joon-Ho movies : "Memories of Murder" from 2003 (that I absolutely love) and The Host (2006). I'll throw also a "Bubba Ho-Tep" a cult movie I adore even though it isn't that well known. And I second people proposing "Master and Commander" or "Hot Fuzz".

Michael

Any 80s/90s classics or B-movies you haven't seen? The ones that are a bit campy could make for good funny reactions. Stargate? Big Trouble in Little China? Face/Off? Mortal Kombat & Street Fighter would be hilarious reactions too, though not necessarily wholly enjoyable for Jimmy...

David

Hannibal movies will spoil the show. Maybe after?

David

The Witch 2015

Belinda

I've been asking for The Thing and The Mist forever! They never win..I am not hopeful lol

Squallboy

1. Raw (2017), 2. Looper (2012)

AgentFalcon

Lord of War (2005) Mask of Zorro (1998)

Anonymous

Arrival and my personal favourite, The Nice Guys.

Constantine

1. L.A. Confidential 2.The nice guys (just to stay in the Shane Black vibe of hilarious awkward violence)

Agnieszka Pienczykowska

Out of Sight, A History of Violence, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Last of the Mohicans, Eastern Promises, Twelve Monkeys, The Truman Show, Seven, The Game, A House of Sand and Fog, There Will Be Blood, Capote, 28 Days Later

Ben Trotter

After learning you like Val Kilmer I have to suggest 2004's Spartan. Probably his most bad ass role ever and a great movie on top of his performance.

The Nice Guys Raising Arizona 13 Assassins Dunkirk

Brian Darty

The highwaymen

Brian Darty

Bright,Hostiles,The foreigner

Brian Darty

Gone baby Gone

Robert Kruger

Action: Upgrade Hardcore Harry Touching the Void 28 Days Later 28 Weeks Later Everything else: Delicatessen A Quiet Place Room They Live Meet the Feebles The Revenant Shakespeare in Love Les Miserables

Robert Kruger

Stargate, especially if it leads to the series(es) reactions. 80s must see movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off Weird Science Better Off Dead

Robert Kruger

Eternal Sunshine, 12 Monkeys, The Truman Show, The Game, and 28 Days Later are all great. Last of the Mahicans was fine, but a rehashed trope. Eastern Promises didn't resonate with me. I'll check out the other one, which I haven't seen. Thanks for the suggestions.

Robert Kruger

Quite surprised that you liked KKBB, it really was unimpressive to me and we're so often on the same page.

Robert Kruger

I've heard good things about Layer Cake, Thanks for reminding me of it. I'll have to watch the others too.

Stefanniko

snatch, hateful 8 , knives out are all solid as hell

Robert Kruger

Have you seen Heavy Metal?

Robert Kruger

Gotta love Bubba Ho-Tep, but it too requires seeing Evil Dead 2 (and possibly 1) as well as Army of Darkness to truly appreciate IMO.

Ben Trotter

Second both of these and The Nice Guys is criminally underrated

Ben Trotter

One other suggestion that admittedly i'm not sure how many of your viewers have seen would be 1999's Arlington Road.
