Fun fact, the actress (Ellen Muth) who plays the 'dead girl' Georgia Madchen played a grim reaper, aka dead invisible girl, on a previous Bryan Fuller show called Dead Like Me. Her character on that show was named Georgia Lass, giving a somewhat added layer of continuity to existing fans just for fun. Most Fuller shows exist in these similar universes. For example the blonde woman (Chelan Simmons) getting her prescription filled in Episode 2 said her name was Gretchen Speck. This is a continuation of her character from a different Bryan Fuller show Wonderfalls where she was engaged to be Gretchen Speck-Horowitz. Hence the line of dialogue in Hannibal Ep.2 where she says "dropped the hyphen, kept the ring." Overall nothing major/detracting for new viewers but nice little details for long time fans. "This is your guy? Hannibal!" -Jimmy. A few moments later... "I kind of like Hannibal." One of us. One of us. 12:32. "He's a terrible doctor. Get rid of him." ...And he's gone. :) Episode 1. Jimmy is squeamish about a girl mounted on antlers. Episode 9. That totem pole is pretty cool. Episode 10. This lady needs to hurry up and die. The progression to the dark side is strong with this one. All kidding aside glad you are enjoying the show, and especially your insights into Hannibal, Jack, Will, and their actions and motivations. Cannot wait to see how you feel about things to come. I'd like to hear where you think the show is headed in terms of the season one finale, what you think season two could have in store, and any hopes or expectations you may have for the show. Cheers!

Is it safe to assume Jimmy, you're familiar with the films? Curious as to your thoughts (so far) about Mads portrayal of Hannibal compared to Hopkins. As well as portrayals of Will Graham and Jack Crawford?

Georgia might have the most horrifying story. To be so damaged that you think you are dead. To tell your mother you’re thinking of killing her, at age nine. This is truly nightmarish.
