Why did you put this show on your poll if you didn’t want to watch it? Where’s the enjoyment in watching someone react begrudgingly to a show they don’t enjoy? Seems like a lose-lose situation. I personally voted for Chernobyl but seriously don’t force yourself to watch it just because it won a poll. It is a really good series though.

Tron

That wasn’t meant to sound complainy... I just mean why torture yourself? Watch something you’ll actually enjoy.

"what is the cost of lies" ... ah, shit, here we go again

This show definitely grabs you by the throat emotionally. I do think it ends up as much an examination of human nature as the event itself. We see both the worst and the best of man in this show, and I'm here for it.

well, you ask why and then say yourself that you've voted, that's why, it's the purpose of the poll and voting, even tho a lot of people complained in the comments under the poll that despite Chernobyl being the best on the poll it's depressing af

Reaction Junkie

This is a story about heroes just as much as it is about the disaster itself. This show while hard to watch at times is a masterpiece!

I knew this was going to be a shitshow. Why can't people understand what a GOOD show to react to is? Spartacus, for example, is full of epic "WOW" moments from special effects to surprise turns of events. This is pure torture without any real payoff. There were just a few of us that joined you at the start with the tier you don't have anymore Jimmy and the shows we recommended are being outvoted for crap like this. I'm going to make a website which allows you to handle voting and tiers better. I vote that you pitch this horrible show. If not, at least watch something fun in addition to it. Fun show list: Scrubs A Touch of Cloth Black Adder

Robert Kruger

It shouldn't have been on a list in the first place. High tier subs wouldn't have allowed it because we're invested and we also value Jimmy's content more.

Ninaofthe90s

I mean...I too want him to watch Spartacus more than anything else..but...don't you think you're overreacting a bit here!? This show only has 5 episodes so he's going to finish it in no time. Also you don't know how it's going to turn out yet. Complaining like this doesn't really help, it just makes us Spartacus fans look whiny. Sorry for sounding a bit harsh.

Not going to watch the video because watching Chernobyl once was enough but judging from the comments this is what I figured was going to happen, it really isn't a great reaction series even if it is good in its own right. Looking forward to the next poll and for Mr. Robot to win (Hey man I can dream can't I?).

I haven't watched this show and I won't, but aren't you being a bit overdramatic? Calm down! :D

Xylen

First, I disagree with your basic premise. I really enjoy watching Chernobyl reactions. But also, just chill my guy. It's only 5 episodes.

Xylen

I could be wrong, but it didn't seem to me that he wasn't enjoying it. It certainly can be a dark and depressing show, and it can carry some heavy emotions, but that doesn't mean the viewer isn't enjoying it. It looked like Jimmy was pretty invested to me. In any case, this is only the first episode of a miniseries with 5 episodes total. People just need to calm down lol

Robert Kruger

Seeing Jimmy in, what quite frankly appeared to be, exasperated pain is not something I want to watch 4 more times, nor do I want to wait a whole month for something worth watching. I signed up for the high end tier so I'd have a REAL voice in getting what I wanted to watch. Now I end up with every $1 sub having the same voice as I do. Sorry, but I am absolutely not overreacting. My $10 patronage gets 1 vote and is cancelled out by someone that thinks Jimmy's reactions are worth $1. I was looking to create a site to support reactors anyway.

Belinda

Yeah, hard pass on this one, sorry. Rather watch Jimmy have fun with something.

Brandon Bush

"I added a vote to Chernobyl to break the tie and keep the redundant themes down." That is a direct quote from you, Robert. Don't act like you didn't contribute to this problem.

TeddyBearBonfire

Robert, you needn't fret about the $1 subs overruling you. My $10 sub cancelled out your vote itself, so there you go. :) There are myriad reasons to watch reactions beyond little wow moments.

This is an awesome show. It has great directing and the acting is top. Best thing is the music in the background, the majority of it is actually made from a mix of different alarms that you would hear in a nuclear power plant.
