Personally i think Reigen sounds better in sub with the way he speaks.

Im out here voting for the sub side of things, even this episode that isn't the best exactly, would have been better in sub form I feel. Either way is fine though. Btw, you've just seen the two lowest rated episodes of this show (this one is tied for second lowest, the first was the lowest), so definitely looking forward to whats coming up

dubs gonna lose a lot of context and drop the ball on some punchlines, its all personal opinion tho so i guess go with what you're feeling and not what everyones yellin at ya

I also agree on going with the sub with this one. The dub is really good with Reigan’s English VA being the MVP of the whole show but having watched it both ways I can say I preferred the sub. But at the end of the day it’s your decision Jimmy and im gonna watch your reactions regardless lol.

In terms of quality, my opinion would be that the sub and dub are equally good. Some characters are outstanding in one, but just good in the other, and vice versa. Neither is necessarily bad. That said, I think the dub is better for reactions. One of the best things about this show is how trippy and imaginative the art style can get, and how hype-as-shit fight scenes are animated. I think you do lose some immersion if your focus is on reading the subs at the bottom of the screen, especially the first time through. But them’s just my two cents. Will look forward to these reactions, either way.
