That last scene under the bridge was so beautiful. The calm before the storm. Love the throwback to the Pilot and can't go wrong with The National. So, Harold's morality is a complicated one, and a controversial one in the fandom, I think. I love it because there are holes in it and it makes him devastatingly human. The way I would describe him is as a non-consequentialist. He doesn't believe the ends justify the means. That is why he urges John to not kill when saving people, why he was not okay with killing the Senator for a mere shot at preventing Samaritan from coming online. But I dare say he is ever so closer to moral relativism now. He has gone through enough shit. Or has he?

POI is one of the rare shows where I legit love every main character. It is crazy, I find it so hard to make a ranking because I would hate to put some characters in the bottom half. But they are all so well realised and awesome in their own way. Every single team member brings something to the table.

Season 5 has some really good episodes and even a few great ones, but I also think overall the writing is some of the worst of the series, there just seems to be too much cheesy dialog at times and too much explaining things to the audience, more on par with other CBS shows. I always thought POI was above that but this season it just seems to have too much of it, I still think season 3 is peak POI as far as writing and consistent quality. I will put S5 over S1 but I do think there is some better quality writing in season 1.

Yup, agreed with everything you said. I think season 5 is just too condensed and rushed and it doesn't help that Greer and the Samaritan agents all seem like cartoon villains.
