So excited for this =) I think you'll love it Jimmy. This first episode was my doing, from back when there was briefly a tier where we could make him watch 1 episode of anything, but it became too popular a tier so he cancelled it quick lol. Literally my favorite tv show ever.

I think The Expanse went the same route from sponsored pilot episode to series reaction with a couple years in between. Deadwood is awesome. Very happy this won the poll.

Deadwood is fantastic and the acting in it is amazing. Hopefully Justified wins a poll sometime 🤞.

You know, I have never watched it, but I always see it mentioned along with Deadwood. Obviously because of the Timothy/lawman connection but also just people saying its good. How does it compare? Like, WHY is it good if you could summarize? I'm curious because it gets so much praise online when it didn't seem special from commercials when it first came out.

Unbeheld

This is the western version of Rome Jimmy. They took historical events, changed a name here and sequence there and constructed an entire new story that rings oddly true. It also helps that the guy who wrote it is a genius and his dialogue which is a odd mix of western, modern, Shakespearean slang is incredible. As a premise, Deadwood was and is a real city established during the expansion of the gold rush. Due to the fact it started out as a bunch of miners erecting tents, it technically had no government jurisdiction at the start of the show. This in turn led to a bunch of wanted fugitives fleeing there seeking a fresh start. That and a boatload of dreamers who were convinced they were going to win the gold Powerball. So because there's no "town", there are no laws. Anyone can gun anyone down on a pretext, which is why the town was so dangerous.

Will there be full length reactions?
