The space-aids eyeball worms are gross af. Also I agree with you on the doctor/scientist being tunnel-vision about Holden appreciating alien contact.

Dunno if the books go into it, but something that is only briefly touched on in the Avasarala storyline is that she's never had to run for office before, so that is a huge weakness for her. She might have never made it to the level of authority she has had in the show if she had to be elected to the job. She's not a particularly likable person and she's bristling at all the attempts to shape her public image. Of course you're losing. I guess maybe no one has the stones to tell her that to her face.

I diddnt think it was possible to love the Expanse anymore but this season has been fire so far! Amazon really nailed it this season!
