Two POI in a day!! WOW that is amazing!.

Regarding this episode, I love the social experiment that Samaritan is doing in order to better understand human nature. Also in the previous episode where samaritan was controlling everything in New York, then creating chaos, that was to draw the machine out of hiding, not to study the response from people. Now it experimented on a person to person level to study each individual, definitely not redundant. The serial assassin was a nice story, TBH I would not have minded Silva taking the role of Carter (basically she was similar to her) keeping in mind, that I don't want her to take Shaw's place. And then its Shaw haha, I was trying really hard in my previous comments to make you believe she was dead as I knew this reveal would come. But bear in mind that even if we do, that doesn't mean the team will ever know. This may just be a salute to the fans, to know she is alive, before Shaw disappearing forever.

Love the samari-town. Creepy as hell though

The torture scene was horrible. Love her, but Root can sometimes be difficult to watch. She didn't need to actually use that drill. This episode is good, but falls short of great IMO in attempting to juggle two plotlines. The Silva part could have waited for the next episode. I like her, but it was distracting from the more urgent matter. Would have been better had they dedicated the whole episode to Maple and the larger storyline, like episodes 10 to 12. The idea of Samaritan running an ant farm, because no one taught it about humanity unlike The Machine, is fascinating and deserved more than some exposition from Harold. Good thing they showed the scene with Shaw. Hopefully that will allow you to remember If-Then-Else for the first 41 mins instead of the last two!

Is this the only episode where Finch calls Root "Samantha"?

All that happens to Shaw since her supposed death in season four, episode eleven and going forward, is because the actress who plays her... Sarah Shahi became several months pregnant and could no longer do all the hard work she's been doing on this show since she was introduced. She couldn't run around kicking, shooting, and punching people any longer.
