lol i feel like the main problem with murtry and wei plotting's that they're assuming they can take them out-and yeah i'm almost positive that they're cocaptains or someshit-and that wouldn't work regulary but with the way drummer and ashford talk through looks it really does

my impression, based on nothing but how I thought ashford and drummer acted toward each other, is that Drummer is still captain and ashford the commander of the Medina Station. However, each one is the local representative for their respective factions - Dawes or Johnson. So Drummer has the final say with ship stuff but for political decisions they're equals.
