It takes place in Manhattan, mostly, and has amazing characters and a really interesting plot

You should definitely watch some videos about the Dark Continent. That's where "Something's" powers, and the Ants come from. That's where Ging wants to go, but its hardcore as hell. Netero being one of the only people that went there TWICE and came back alive.
