One of the best episodes so far for sure, but the second half of the season really ramps things up. 3 or 4 of my favorite episodes in the series are yet to come! This show is great about giving you the proper payoff as the story wraps up - Season 3 finishes just as well, if not better - pay attention to all the small details and you'll be rewarded for it.

oh yes, Jimmy, we understand, not only he is "that guy" as a "badass line of a badass character" in some vacuum or abstraction, it's perfectly reasonable, story-driven scene, he is that guy

the agathaking after it got hit has to be one of the creepiest scenes so far and i love it-and that part where protokatoa(protoa?)looking at venus!lol brainiac arising i forgot how great this midseason finale/book end was

Definitely my favorite episode. I binged this show around Christmas time and this episode stands out when i think about the show.
