Happy you are enjoying this series dude. What do you think your top 3 episodes are so far? Mine are 1. Relevance (shaw introduction) 2. The Devils share (aftermath of carters death with Fusco confessing to a murder and Elias killing Simmons) and 3. Many Happy Returns(where Reese fucks up that US Marshall who beats on his wife and we flash back to Reese and his ex.)

Your favs so far are mine also. I just love how the first half of the show is one story yet the building blocks for the end get laid out so delicately and incredibly. After carter died, the second half of the series is the overarching myth, which is just as if not better than the first half. There are still a bunch of top ten episodes to come and my favorite episode is in season 4. So glad jimmy is digging this show

The funny thing is when the reporter asked: "So the government isn't spying on the American people?" the answer "It is not" is correct. The Machine is a black box that only only spits out a nine digit number. It's not like there are actual people watching everyone's every move. No one is actively spying/watching people. There is just a machine that is monitoring everything and then spits out a number when need be. No one is actively being surveilled by anyone. You can say the dumbest things and do the dumbest stuff...but no one will know about it because there aren't actual human beings watching you and the machine won't deem it relevant. So even though it's being "recorded" - it just vanishes in a black hole. I don't actually see a problem with that - especially if that kind of system actually stops terrorist attacks. Having a problem with that seems rather petulant than righteous
