The Machine scares me too. Which is why I can totally understand and agree with what Reese is saying about no longer trusting in the Machine. He trusts Finch with fiber of his being. That's why Reese came back to save him. But he can't work for the Machine. He will no longer trust it so blindly like Finch always has. I love this.

Now you know why Hersh is such an animal - because his boss is even more so.

To be fair, the Machine needed to intimidate Control so she had to be scary. Also, it's balanced by showing Arthur pictures of his past so the Machine isn't completely heartless.

"Isn't She the best?!". That's the kind that frightens me most. How difficult it just have been for Finch not to anthropomorphize the machine. Arthur referring to Samaritan as a baby was more frightening to me than Harold's "yes, wonderful. And terrible.," because he's aware of the balance . I think you'll love the series more and more now that we're on the other side of the midpoint.

Line, not kind. #@*% autocorrect.

the argument between Reese and Fusco in this one is great as well. Kevin Chapman is an underrated actor.

Everyone on this show hits their notes perfectly, from the mains to smaller roles like Control, Collier, and Hersh. But Amy Acker just demolishes it as Root, from start to finish. She plays hurt, she plays in control of a situation, she even does The Machine speaking through Root, and it all just works. A great performance that (sadly like all of them in this show) sometimes gets overlooked because of the genre of the piece.

Just found this Patreon channel. I love that you are doing this show. It’s my favorite Nolan show. I like it better than west world. Love Ramon dwajdi on the music, all the actors are killing it!!! Thanks for doing the show!!!!

"Does it make you laugh? Does it make you weep? What's more human?" That scene between Saul Rubinek and Michael Emerson goes a long way in setting the stage for how we see The Machine here on out.

Annoyingly I'm too old to hear the Machine. Apparently it is accurate Morse code. Wish I could confirm.

"I don't belong to anyone anymore. You, however, are mine. [...] The only thing you love lives at [...] Do not quesstion my judgement." Yeah...that does sound kinda scary, doesn't it :D

But also: Finch said in 2x16: "Set out to right the world's wrongs and you almost certainly wind up adding to them." People like control are the perfect example of it. Those who are in charge of fighting terrorism are often those who justify terrorism through their own actions

Agree with you 100%. Now it's especially said how unrecognized their performances were in light of the new specialized Super Critics Choice Awards that will have it's inaugural premier in January. Why is it a curse to a creative if the genre is action/horror/sci-fi until 2020 happened? What's also scary is how it feels like we are truly living this series right now.

It would be great if you could fix these broken links, unfortunately there are a lot..
