So I'll be starting that this upcoming week, episodes 2 and 3. Will have the same tiers as Fringe did, both regular and full lengths.

For those that missed it, here was episode 1 I did quite a while ago.

Lol I had forgotten you watched ep 1. It's a massive world they're setting up, with lot's of moving parts, so it takes it's time doing that. It's necessary but the payoffs are totally worth it. Really looking forward to this! Thanks Jimmy!

I did a similar thing with this show where I watched the first ep and, while it was cool, I didn't continue because it seems like a lot to take in. But after episode 3 or 4 it really picked up and I've loved it ever since.

Dunno if it's ever been on a poll. But have you heard of a show called The Strain Jimmy? It's a vampire show by Guillermo Del Toro and starring David Bradley (Walder Frey) and Keamy from lost has a good role in it. It's a 4 season complete show. Very great character development and story. (I'm only up to season 3 so dunno if it maintains its quality, but definitely worth a look)

It genuininley was a hard show for me to get into at first. There was a lot going on and I didnt really know why I should care about all the stuff that was happening, but trust that once you get to a certain point things start falling into place and the show becomes fantastic.

Pretty stoked for this. I love The Expanse. It's a super dense world which becomes very rewarding. Plus the close adherence to realistic physics makes for very interesting action/storytelling opportunities.

I'm the one who made you watch that first episode... glad other folks backed me up and got us to this point. I'd compare the S1 narrative to Westworld S1, where they spend the first half of the season worldbuilding, but then bring it all together in the second half. And then S2 is even better.

You won't regret it, I know people are calling it GoT in space, etc, the best Sci-Fi alongside "this" or "that", but that's something else and very special in terms of detail and worldbuilding, kinda realistic extrapolation with somewhat real characters in it, it beautiful man, I just wonder how could I miss it and catch up just this year this month

I've been busy for a while and only just saw that you've decided to pick this up. You have no idea how much you'll come to love this show. Just stick with it through the early episodes and you'll understand.
