Guys please have him do Fullmetal. As good as My Hero Acadamia is, it isn't even done yet, and I don't want him to finish AoT only to watch another incomplete anime. Fullmetal is just as good, and actually has a complete story.

FMAB is one of my favorite shows of all time I just can’t get over how good it is. It’s exciting and the characters are all great. Everything pays off super well in the end too and it does not lose steam

Why the fuck would you give us such an amazing list of options and only allowing us to pick one. You're sadistic as fuck. I personally picked MHA but I'm genuinely surprised how few votes Steins Gate and Code Geass have so far considering how good both of them are.

Steins;Gate is THE superb time travel show. What people call the slow beginning is like LOST during the first two seasons. All set up, and Steins;Gate pays off so fucking good with its great characters and the exhausting emotional ride and the story. There is a damn good reason it's one of the top with Brotherhood in the lists at Myanimelist. Just do all these series.

The reason that I'm not picking Code Geass, despite me it being my favorite option on the list, is because I feel like Jimmy needs to watch a couple more mainstream/gateway anime first. Code Geass is fucking amazing, but it's also filled with plenty of anime tropes that can be really offputting if you're not used to them, like the highschool bullshit, overdramatic dialogue, gratuitous fan-service, unique art style, hit-or-miss humor, and inconsistent tone.

Avatar the Last Airbender is one of the best shows ever made and it's in English. If you are fine with some silly humor then go with that show.
