Anne Rice wrote this book after her real life daughter died so she made this story where Louis has to live on forever after the death of Claudia, unchanging and empty. Hope the success of this book and movie brought her some peace. Kirsten Dunst is legit fantastic, Claudia is personally, easily my favorite.
