2019/2020 talk and a launch date for chapter 4! (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

I guess it's an appropriate time to talk about the previous year and the road ahead. 

First, I would like to thank everyone who donated to the Patreon over the course of 2019. Thank you for being amongst the first to support my work! One of the biggest hurdles facing indie comic creators is the haunting feeling that no one cares about your work. Knowing there are people who will donate to the project eases that worry. I know my Patreon doesn't offer the most extensive suite of perks for contributors. ( Feel free to suggest some in the comments. I will consider them. I've considered a commission tier for those interested. ) I am simply too busy keeping up with comic updates and artwork to maintain extra services. However, I will strive to offer shop discounts and cool bonuses over the upcoming year. I hope you will remain with Astray3 throughout 2020. Chapter four will be the biggest chapter yet! 

Speaking of which, the next chapter of Astray3 will start rolling out on January 20th. The posting schedule will be the same as the previous chapter. The week's update will post on Monday. The translation for that page will post on the following Saturday. ( When necessary. ) I have a small buffer built up which should ensure regular updates for the first three months. But, I fear, update gaps are inevitable. Which leads us to the next topic. 

As most of you know, 2019 marked my first foray into the convention and live event circuit. I'm proud to say it has been a successful endeavor. The Astray3 books have been well received and, most importantly, sell. That is such a relief! Sinking money into preliminary print runs without pre-orders nor a Kickstarter is scary! But, it paid off. As such, I'm in the midst of planning more shows for 2020. As you might guess, this will involve more traveling and time away from the drawing board. 

Yes, 2020 will be very busy and complicated. It is my hope to have the next Astray3 print book ready by September. But, given how much work goes into convention appearances, I'm pessimistic that goal can be achieved. At the bare minimum, expect two to three comic updates a month. Of course, I will always strive for at least one page a week.
