There will probably only be one update this week. Still dealing with the fallout of the previous illness. But, all is good now. I have some stuff prepped for a background update, but not enough time to finish it this weekend. Hopefully have some fresh exclusive info for you later this week.

Now, onto the comic and the first appearance of Thunga-Mag-Hundagum. Of course we don't get her name here. But she does mention her race. The powerful, reclusive, and matriarchal Numagrums. I will talk a bit more in depth about her when we go over her redesign.  As this panel hints, Thunga has an expanded role in the new comic. She'll be more vocal and we'll learn more about her this time around.

On the technical side, goodness gracious where to begin. The approach to inking has changed and another tweak to the coloring. Firstly, the inking, inking has always been an intimidating proposition for me. Always dancing between my love for the thick ink work of classic American comics and a thinner more contemporary look. On this page I let the thin win. And...it does flatter the pencils better. That goes hand in hand with a tweak to the coloring. Last weeks update looked too busy in the end. So, I took everything I've learned, scaled it back and simplified it. The end result of the changes to inking and coloring produces something very contemporary. Wow, I guess we will be going with this look for awhile.

On a side note, the Muradjinn seems to have imprisoned Thunga in the "Gun Show" pose. Buy your tickets now folks....
