Another costume/form change for Xaun. This will not be the only one this week. The Red and Green effects on the 2nd and 3rd panel are signaling Astray3's acknowledgment of Xaun's commands.

Also, there is another change to the coloring method for the comics. This is based a little more on popular digital painting techniques. It uses multiple blending layers to create the effect. In some ways this method is quicker than the old one. I wonder how it will come out in printing.

No need to apologize. I appreciate the insight. You bring up different points than the opinions I see on the main page comments. Commenters on the main page are more interested in puzzling out the plot rather than the story structure. Feel free to get critical. If I question what you say it's to dissect what brings you to that POV.

I'm a believer in organic story telling and slowly unfolding the story via natural dialogue. Exposition dumps and "classroom" talk seem unnatural ( From the U.S. perspective at least ) and break up the flow. So, as a general rule, I write the dialogue with a sense that the participants are familiar with one another. Imagine dropping into the middle of an unfamiliar person's conversation or eavesdropping on couples in a restaurant. You can certainly piece together the intent of their conversation, however you lack the familiarity to get the entire context of what they say. A reader on the main page described it as, " Being at a party where you don't know anyone and they're all talking about stuff you know nothing about. " Which is what I was aiming for. Plus, the larger underlying mystery of the setting is about what Astray3 actually is. Can't give that away right off the bat.
